The conscious composer is always searching for a performer that brings a new and fresh look at it's work body which is in constant mutation. Likewise, the conscious performer, curious and bold, always searches for new ways to liven the work of the conscious composer.
In this project, singer Maria João dares to breath new life to Guinga's already celebrated repertoire. The moment arrived for both to permit themselves to go ashore (mar afora), like the ancients used to say, in search of adventure and discover new routes, together, on stage.
